For complete instructions, please check out the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
Spread the popcorn out on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan. Drizzle with melted white chocolate. Next, add freeze dried strawberries to a bag and use a meat tenderizer or other heavy object to crush strawberries into a powder (you can also crush in a food processor or chopper).
Sprinkle the crushed freeze dried strawberries over the white chocolate drizzled popcorn. Gently toss to combine, then let the white chocolate finish hardening and enjoy!
Tips and Variations
- Dark Chocolate – go for chocolate covered strawberry vibes and add a drizzle of melted dark chocolate on top of the strawberry popcorn.
- Dairy-Free – use a dairy-free white chocolate (like Enjoy Life brand) and make sure your popcorn is dairy free/ popped with an oil or air, not butter.
- Gluten-Free – as long as there are no additives to your white chocolate or popcorn, this strawberry popcorn is a naturally gluten-free snack!
- No Added Sugar – use a stevia-sweetened or other no added sugar white chocolate, like Lily’s brand.
- Add Some Crunch – toasted shredded coconut, finely chopped nuts or seeds all can add some fun crunch.
How to Store
Once the chocolate has set, the strawberry popcorn can be transferred to an airtight container and kept on the counter or in the pantry for up to one week.
