This buffalo chicken Caesar wrap has become a go-to favorite, easy lunch. Not only is it delicious and packed full of flavor, but it’s got satisfying textures and a whole lot of nutrition, too!

These air fryer buffalo chicken wraps are high in protein, full of leafy greens, and you can sneak in a lot of fiber by using a high-fiber tortilla, too.

So let’s make them!

Buffalo Chicken Caesar Wrap Ingredients

For a full ingredient list with quantities, please check out the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

ingredients to make buffalo chicken caesar wraps
  • Chicken – I use chicken tenderloins in this recipe, but you can even use rotisserie chicken if that makes your life easier!
  • Seasonings – seasoning your chicken before adding the buffalo sauce is a great way to amp up the flavor. I use salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika, but feel free to season with your heart.
  • Buffalo sauce – use whichever buffalo sauce you prefer!
  • Lettuce – I use a nice crisp romaine lettuce, but you can even use a finely shredded kale, too.
  • Caesar dressing – You can make your own or use your favorite. I personally enjoy the Bolthouse Farms Greek yogurt-based Caesar dressing.
  • Parmesan cheese crisps – These add an extra layer of flavor, plus the best crunch for more satisfaction.
  • Tortillas – Again, use what you prefer! I personally aim for whole grain and/ or higher fiber tortillas to boost the fiber and nutrition content.

How to Make a Buffalo Chicken Caesar Wrap

For complete instructions, please check out the recipe card at the bottom of this post.

ingredients laid out to make buffalo chicken caesar wraps
  1. Season chicken and air fry at 400 degrees F for 8-10 minutes, or until chicken is done (internal temp should be at 165). When chicken is done, toss in buffalo sauce and set aside.
  2. While the chicken is air frying, wash and thinly slice the romaine lettuce. Toss with Caesar dressing and set aside.
  3. Assemble the wraps by layering a tortilla with the Caesar salad, then chicken tenderloins. Crush some parmesan cheese crisps on top, then fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll.
  4. If desired, give the wrap a quick grill in a skillet to get both sides toasty.
  5. Enjoy!

Substitutions & Variations

  • Extra Saucy – add an extra drizzle of buffalo sauce and Caesar dressing before rolling the wrap.
  • Rotisserie Chicken – if time is of the essence, feel free to use rotisserie chicken or another pre-cooked chicken. Shred your chicken and toss in buffalo sauce, then make the rest of the wrap as is.
  • Blue Cheese Fans – if blue cheese is more your vibe, try using blue cheese crumbles instead of the crumbled parmesan crisps.
  • Ranch Fans – season chicken with ranch seasoning before air frying. You also can substitute ranch dressing instead of Caesar dressing, or you could dip in my viral Cottage Cheese Ranch.
  • Gluten Free – make sure your tortilla and any sauces used are gluten-free.
  • Dairy-Free: use a dairy-free Caesar dressing and buffalo sauce, and skip the parmesan crisps. Feel free to sub some slivered nuts for crunch, or your favorite plant-based “cheese” crumbles or shreds.

Meal Prepping Wraps

If you’re a meal prepper, this buffalo chicken Caesar wrap has pretty solid nutrition stats, so you may be interested in prepping it for meals! Now if you’re like my husband, you’ll make the wrap, no problem, and enjoy whenever it’s time for lunch.

I tend to be more sensitive to different textures (no soggy wraps here, please!), so when meal prepping wraps, I prefer and recommend preparing the components separately. I use three compartment containers and put the buffalo chicken in one, the Caesar salad in another, and the parmesan crisps in the third. Then I have the wrap on the side and take a minute to assemble the wrap fresh.

Ingredients

Buffalo Chicken:

  • 1.5 pounds chicken tenderloins
  • 2 teaspoons avocado oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup buffalo sauce

Caesar Salad

  • 1 small head romaine lettuce finely chopped
  • ½ cup Bolthouse Farms Caesar Dressing (or preferred dressing)

To Assemble Wraps

  • 4 high-fiber tortillas
  • 1 ounce parmesan cheese crisps

Instructions

  • Remove tendons from chicken tenderloins. Place chicken tenderloins in a bowl and toss with avocado oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
1.5 pounds chicken tenderloins, 2 teaspoons avocado oil, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Place seasoned chicken in the air fryer basket, careful not to overlap tenderloins. Air fry at 400°F for 8-10 minutes. (Chicken is done when it reaches 165°F internally).
  • While the chicken is air frying, wash and thinly slice the romaine. In a small bowl, toss the lettuce with Caesar dressing, then set aside.
1 small head romaine lettuce, 1/2 cup Bolthouse Farms Caesar Dressing
  • When the chicken is done, transfer them to a clean bowl, add buffalo sauce, and toss to evenly coat.
    1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • To assemble the wraps, place a tortilla down and top with the Caesar salad, chicken tenderloins, and then crumble parmesan cheese crisps on top. Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll the tortilla up.
4 high-fiber tortillas, 1 ounce parmesan cheese crisps
  • If you want a little extra crunch, sear both sides of the wrap in a skillet over medium-high heat for a couple minutes on each side, to get it toasted and crisped. (Place seam side down first!).
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!
