ingredients to make peanut butter yogurt dip
  • Greek Yogurt: I use vanilla Greek yogurt in this recipe, and personally prefer an option with zero added sugar.
  • Peanut Butter: sorry crunchy fans, but creamy PB reigns supreme in this recipe!
  • Cinnamon: pairs so deliciously with peanut butter and adds a subtle sweetness
  • Vanilla Extract: I love to use vanilla bean paste to see the little specks, but even if it’s just a touch of extract, it elevates the flavor a little more.
  • Dippers: we love fresh apple slices, but you can use whatever sounds good to you (see a list of ideas below).

Tips & Variations

  • No Added Sugar – making the recipe with a vanilla Greek yogurt with no added sugar is just what you need.
  • Dairy-Free – use your favorite plant-based, thick/ Greek-style yogurt alternative.
  • Gluten-Free – this dip is naturally gluten-free!
  • Nut-Free – use a seed butter, like sunflower seed butter in this recipe (my family enjoys it with SunButter!)
  • Plain Greek Yogurt – you can use plain Greek yogurt and then sweeten with your preferred sweetener. My kids love it this way with honey, but you could use any sweetener that fits your tastes and needs.
  • Flavor Enhancers – while you can skip the added cinnamon and vanilla, it really helps make the flavors pop!
  • Garnish – add a dash of cinnamon or –my kids’ favorite — a sprinkle of mini chocolate chips or sprinkles on top for a fun and even festive flare.
