One-Ingredient Grape Popsicles
With a blog post title like “One-Ingredient Grape Popsicles”, I have a feeling the recipe isn’t going to be much of a shocker. 😉
While “recipe” may be a stretch, I still am sharing these grape popsicles with you today because they’re exactly what Nutrition to Fit is about: healthy, easy, fun, enjoyable, colorful, and family-friendly. Seriously. I think hardest part about these grape popsicles is pouring them into the popsicle mold spill-free (you may fair better if you’re more patient than I am…). They’re colorful, healthy (they’re JUST grapes), and fun. I mean, why eat grapes when you can eat a popsicle (that’s jut grapes!)?! Speaking of color, don’t you feel like vibrant food makes you happier? For me it does, especially knowing that oftentimes bright colors in the foods we eat signify greater nutrient-density (except you, Fruit Loops).
These work with any kind of seedless grapes, too. Black grapes, red grapes, green grapes – pick your favorite! Literally, all you do is wash your grapes well, throw them in a blender and blend until completely pureed, then pour into popsicle molds. (Which, for the record are mandatory for summer fun in the kitchen. No excuses – they’re super cheap! I picked this mold up at Walmart for 98 cents!)
You can certainly add other ingredients to these if you’d like (although honestly, they’re pretty perfect as is!). If your grapes are a little tart, try adding some banana or mango for added sweet creaminess. I tried one swirled with a little leftover lite canned coconut milk drizzled in, which was tasty, too.
Oh, and can someone please try a special 21+ version of these popsicles with grapes and wine?! Please report back!
If you want to give these a go, blend your grapes and freeze them tonight! Tomorrow is National Grape Popsicle Day and I’d love for you to share your creations with me! Take a photo of your popsicles or you with your popsicles and share it to the Nutrition to Fit Facebook Page or to Instagram tagging @nutritiontofit and #nutritiontofit.

Great idea! I have been thinking of making some popsicles for my little one to help with teething pain.. just the inspiration I needed!
Aw, I hope it helps!! We’re still not teething over here yet (seven months old on Monday) and I’m dreading it… My baby was a little weirded out by the concept of a popsicle, but she loved eating it from a spoon when it was more of a grape slush consistency. 😉
totally brilliant! I’m going to head to the store for some grapes!
Thank you Rebecca!! You’re the best! Hope these help you stay cool this summer! 🙂
