Blueberry Matcha Overnight Oats
These Blueberry Matcha Overnight Oats are everything that you need in the morning: nourishing, filling, delicious, have a little caffeine, and require less than five minutes of prep time the night before! | No added sugar, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, nut-free.
These Blueberry Matcha Overnight Oats are literally all you need in the morning, especially given the fact that they require NO TIME from you in the morning (besides you know, actually eating them)!!
Let’s do a brief run down:
- Grab-and-go!
- Nourishing fuel!
- Caffeine!
Overnight oats are my jam because I’m always looking for any way to streamline mornings. Currently, I work from home – but that doesn’t mean I always want (or have time) to dedicate to detailed meals and clean up, especially because I have a toddler I’m feeding, too. I 100% still appreciate ready-made meals and meal prep, because it allows me to make delicious, balanced, simple meals (with real food) quickly.
Even before I started working from home, though, these type of breakfasts were my fave. I had to be at work by 7 or 7:30, so these were perfect to bring with me and take a few minutes to enjoy as I was getting my day set up.
And what better way to ensure you’re set up for a good day than fueling yourself with a nourishing breakfast? These Blueberry Matcha Overnight Oats make fantastic fuel. They pack a ton of satiety, that sense of satisfying fullness, to keep you full and focused all morning long, thanks to all the fiber. There’s a little bit of healthy fats from flaxseed (and optionally more depending on what type of milk or milk substitute you use). They have a subtle sweetness because of all the blueberries in here, so there’s no needed for any added sugar.
And a Blueberry Matcha Overnight Oats bonus? They really are all-in-one. With a serving (1/2 teaspoon) of matcha green tea powder, it has more caffeine than a cup of tea brewed from a tea bag, but less than a cup of coffee. So you’ve got just enough caffeine to give you a gentle kick-start to your day, especially if you’re more sensitive to caffeine in larger quantities, like in coffee.
Bottom line? These Blueberry Matcha Overnight Oats are a delicious addition to your morning to get you off to a solid start. If you make them, be sure to share your thoughts and a pic to the NTF Facebook page or on Instagram (tag @nutritiontofit and #nutritiontofit so I can see!) Live well!

Super easy and it makes breakfast in the morning stress free!
Sounds like a delicious recipe to me! Yum, count me in!
Overnight oats are 90% of what I eat for breakfast. These are added to my rotation now!
I plan to make this; can chia seeds substitute for the ground flaxseeds?
Yes, but you’ll likely need to add a little more liquid (you can always adjust/ add more liquid in the morning).
