This butterfly pea latte, or a blue latte/ blue matcha latte, is a mild tea with subtle floral and herbal notes paired with honey, vanilla, and creamy milk.
Whisk or froth 2 teaspoons of dried, ground butterfly pea flowers with 1/4 cup hot water until the tea is fully dissolved.
Add vanilla and honey and stir.
Froth the warmed milk and pour it over the blue tea. Serve immediately and enjoy!
For an Iced Blue Latte
Pour the sweetened blue tea (after step 2) over a glass of ice. Keep the milk chilled, don't froth it, and pour directly over the iced butterfly pea tea. Stir and enjoy!
