Bone Broth Rice is a great way to sneak a little extra protein (and flavor!) into a simple rice side dish. It's freezer-friendly and great for meal prep, too!
Pour the rice into a fine mesh sieve and rinse it under cold water until it runs clear (about 1 minute).
1 cup rice
Transfer the rice to a large saucepan, also adding the bone broth and salt (if needed - you likely won't if using a salted broth). Bring the mixture to a boil.
2 cups bone broth, 1/2-1 teaspoon salt
Once boiling, reduce heat to a simmer and cover. Simmer, while covered, for around 15 minutes, then fluff with a fork and serve. Enjoy!
Notes
Note: please follow the instructions specifically on your package of rice. Both liquid to rice ratios and cooking time can vary based on the type of rice used, so go by your specific rice recommendations! Bone broth can be substituted for water, 1:1.
