Preheat oven to 375°F. If you're making a pie crust from scratch, go ahead and do so now.
Add chopped asparagus and ham to the pie crust and set aside.
1 cup asparagus, chopped, 1 cup diced ham, 1 deep dish pie crust
To a blender, add eggs, cottage cheese, shredded cheese, and seasonings. Blend until smooth.
6 eggs, 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese, grated, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Gently pour the egg mixture into the pie crust, over the ham and asparagus. Bake the quiche for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set. (Note that it may be easier to transfer in/ out of the oven, and any spillage may be caught if the quiche is placed on a sheet pan for baking.)
Once done, let cool a few minutes before slicing. Then slice, serve, and enjoy!
