Ingredients

creamy peanut butter

dark brown sugar

vanilla extract

oats

baking soda

chocolate chips

cup
mini M&Ms
Instructions
Combine wet ingredients (peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs) and stir until incorporated.
Add dry ingredients (oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt) and stir until evenly combined.
Mix in chocolate chips and M&Ms (reserve 1-2 tablespoons of each to press on top of cookies if you want a more decorated or "pretty" cookie).
Use a cookie scoop to scoop 2 tablespoon-sized scoops onto a cookie tray lined with a silicone baking mat.
Press reserved chocolate chips and M&Ms into the tops of the cookie dough (or skip this step if you don't want to!).
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. When cookies are slightly golden brown on the outside, they're done!
Let cookies rest on the tray at least 5-10 minutes so they continue to firm as they cool. Enjoy!
Notes
Use old fashioned oats for chewier or quick oats for crisper. And choose certified gluten-free oats if necessary.
