Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned oats (certified gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 teaspoon matcha
  • 1/2 cup rice milk, unsweetened (or other milk/ milk alternative)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a small airtight container (like a mason jar), stir or shake to combine, and refrigerate overnight (or 6+ hours).

  2. Your blueberry matcha overnight oats will be ready to go in the morning!

Recipe Notes

I used frozen blueberries, because they add an extra "juiciness" level as they thaw, adding more flavor and natural sweetness to the overnight oats. You could probably use fresh blueberries, but may need to crush them slightly (and may need a splash more milk/ milk substitute).

You can add additional protein and satiety to your oats by adding a scoop of your favorite collagen, protein powder, or even Greek yogurt.

Nutrition information will vary based on type of milk/ milk substitute used and if any other ingredients (like collagen) are added.
